The showing is located at the head of La Forme Creek, approximately 29 kilometres north east of Revelstoke. The showing is located at an altitude of 1680 metres.

In 1959 the old trail along the east fork of the La Forme Creek was cleaned out, side trails to the showings were built, and several small open-cuts were made. In 2008-2010, Rich River Exploration Ltd. performed a series of geochemical and geological surveys of showing as apart of their Allco-Redtop-Slide Project.

Galena and sphalerite occur as discontinuous layers in limestone and as irregular disseminated lenses in dolomite, within grey and green phyllites. The highest-grade mineralization occurs in a 2 metre band of limestone which lenses out into dolomite, forming an isoclinal antiform plunging 35 degrees to the north. In the crest of the antiform is a rusty phyllite lens between the limestone and dolomite and pinching out along the limbs. The total width of mineralized rock is about 6 metres, and mineralization continues to the southeast along the strike from the crest of the anticline a distance of about 15 metres.

In 2010, a sample of well mineralized limestone returned 0.63 gram per tonne silver, 0.77 per cent lead and 2.1 per cent zinc across 3.3 metres (Assessment Report 32051).
